ACS Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference

Applied Separations, Inc. will again be participating in the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference, hosted by the American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute® (ACS GCI) where the best minds in green chemistry and engineering gather to present, collaborate, learn and innovate.

The Green Chemistry Pharmaceutical Roundtable describes flash chromatography as a significant contributor to organic solvent waste produced in medicinal chemistry laboratories. Applied Separations, Inc. has a solution and will present it at this year's conference.

Applied Separations, Inc. has developed a flash chromatography system using existing liquid carbon dioxide as the mobile phase. This meets one of the principles of the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry... using safer solvents. The eCO2Chrom™ system cuts hazardous solvent use by 80% but still delivers stunning separations as the paper being presented will show.

Visit the eCO2Chrom section of the website for more information about the system.
